About Me

My name is Owen Watkins, and I am an aspiring developer, student, husband and father. I am enrolled in a B.S. Computer Science program at Franklin University in Columbus Ohio, and am studying front end skills on my own. I have a good foundation in HTML and CSS, and am working on JavaScript. I am open to try anything, as I have always learned best through practice. I have been teaching myself web development through a few resources such as freecodecamp.com, udemy.com, operationcode.org, and self study. If your looking for someone who is eager to learn, and loves a new challange then I'm your guy.

Mount Gilead Free Mason

This is the first wordpress site I have ever done. It was created for the local Masonic lodge. With this, I learned some valuable lessons about color and layout.

Color Picker

This is an RGB color picking game that I made while doing a udemy.com webdev course. It taught me quite a bit about javascript and layout, as well as randomness.

todo app

This was my first real experience with writing out javascript. It is a simple to-do app that allows the user to add to and remove from an array.
